design is a love letter to your brand

This isn't just about visual communication, it's about building something together that makes you feel proud every time your brand needs to show up—on screen, in print, and in real life. Your success? That lights me up. Because when you feel aligned, confident, and seen...everything clicks. I'm not here to take over. I'm here to help you shine—and get it right the first time. I build entire visual systems that reflect the brand you’ve already built—and the version of you that’s boldly stepping into what’s next.

Your brand’s not just a vibe— it’s your voice, your handshake, your first impression. And in a world where people scroll fast and judge faster, design is what makes them stop and see you. Your audience is craving authenticity, and the way your brand looks is the first thing they feel.

Here's what I know: simple wins. Not because it's easy—because it’s effective.

I design brands that know exactly who they are and show up so clean, so dialed in, so intentional—they don’t have to shout to stand out.

20+ years doing this with everyone from industry icons to solo rebels means  I'm fast, precise, and know a thing or two.

If you’re tired of your brand feeling like a collection of mismatched parts and want something that feels aligned, effortless, and clear—this is where it starts. This isn't for everyone. It’s for the ones who are ready.

All you need to do is decide.
Are you ready?

Our Style

My work is rooted in simplicity—not because I like things boring, but because I believe clarity is the most powerful form of communication. I specialize in clean design that supports your business goals without the extra noise.

No. o2

Our Method

With over 15 years in digital design and marketing—including work with industry icons like Kohler Co. and Herman Miller—I’ve learned what makes design truly effective and I bring that same level of polish and precision to every project, whether it’s a full website or a single PDF.

Our People

I work with founders, creatives, and quietly rebellious business owners who are scaling something meaningful, launching something new, or finally taking their visuals off the back burner. They're tired of piecing things together and ready for design that feels aligned, and undeniably them.

THE ORIGIN
STORY

I live in the woods in Elkhart Lake,  Wisconsin with my two dogs, husband and more paper goods than one woman should admit to owning.

I once took Special K looking for clarity. Not the cereal, Ketamine. And it was actually six times. I needed something to cut through the fog of grief, burnout, and corporate chaos. Because losing my mom in 2016 cracked something wide open in me. Suddenly, I had zero patience for performative leadership, pretentious men and the slow death of my creativity in meetings that could’ve been emails.

Then one night, I saw her.
Her silhouette standing in my bedroom doorway. She told me to quit my job.

So I did.

I left the safety of corporate, leaned into the fear, and built a business that could hold both sides of me: the deeply intuitive, empathetic creative—and the systems-loving, strategy-driven tech geek. The result is Creative Geek Studio: where clarity meets beauty, and where every piece of design is built to hold real emotion and real function.

Starting this business was terrifying, but I had my husband Jesse in my corner (he’s the UPS guy who makes the world run), and I had my mom as my silent co-founder in spirit. Since then, I’ve worked with dream clients across the globe—UK, Arizona, Texas, the Bahamas—and the same message comes through every time:

That’s the magic.
That’s the method.
And that’s why I do this.

Because I believe good design should feel like a deep exhale. Like someone finally translated what’s been living in your head into something real.

And because every time I help a client feel proud of their brand, I know my mom’s still standing in that doorway, nodding.

I'm Rebecca,
Creative Geek.

Rebecca just gets me. She created something I couldn't even explain. She knew what I wanted before I did.

QUESTIONNARE

Still here? Perfect. If we're going to work together, we gotta go a little deeper. Here are my answers to the famously big questions, a la Vanity Fair.

What’s your idea of perfect happiness?
Snow gently falling, fire lit, sipping on a full-bodied red, dogs at our feet, and kicking my husband's ass in Scrabble.

On what occasion do you lie?
When asked how long a “quick edit” will take.

Which historical figure do you most identify yourself with?
Stevie Nicks. Not because I twirl in chiffon (though never say never), but because she made magic on her own terms. And black is my happy color too, Stevie.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Selflessness. There’s a difference between being generous and being a doormat. Boundaries are sexy. So is rest. So is saying no.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d stop pretending I don’t need systems when, in fact, I absolutely, desperately need systems.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Building something brave enough to help other people be bold.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I’ll tell you the truth—but in a way that makes you feel more seen, not less. It’s my Midwest-nice-meets-Brooklyn-blunt superpower.

How do you handle the Wisconsin cold?
Cheese and layers. Honestly, I love it. It’s grounding, it’s quiet, and the people are unreasonably nice. Like, they’ll help you push your car out of a snowbank and then apologize for not doing it faster. There's charm here—a slowness that makes space for big ideas. And when the leaves turn or the Packers win or your local barista knows your name and your dog’s? You remember why you stay.

Rebecca is very creative and somehow intuitive enough to know just what we are looking for.

THE support
Squad

As the oldest in the pack (and clearly the favorite), my expertise lies in managing snack breaks, morale, and ensuring Mom stays on task (and remembers lunch).

I’ve been here since day one and would argue I’m the original creative genius behind this operation.

My leadership style? Quiet supervision with frequent naps and excellent judgment on when it's time to call it a day.

Vince – director of barketing + Communications

If you’re within 50 feet of HQ, I already know. My job is to protect this studio from delivery trucks, rogue squirrels, and the occasional threat known as “a Zoom call.”

My bark is loud, my energy is chaotic, and my loyalty is unmatched. I take my role seriously—but I will absolutely abandon post for a banana or McDonald's French fries.

I joined the team after my half-brother Vince convinced Mom I was worth the hire, and let’s be honest: I’ve been the muscle behind this operation ever since.

Reggie – director of security + surveillance
